Once you have registered for self-referral into the MSK physio service, we need you to download the Airmid app. You must have the app to complete the symptom questionnaire we will send you
We use the Airmid app and you must have it to complete your self-referral questionnaire when we send it to you.
The app is free and available for all devices including phone/ desktop.
Remember to allow all notifications once you have downloaded the app as we don’t want you to miss any communications from us.
If you cannot access the app or do not have access to a suitable device, call 01493 809977 where we will be able to help you complete your self-referral.

Why do I need Airmid?
Airmid is a free app that is used by the majority of GP practices in the Great Yarmouth and Waveney area and is recognised widely within the NHS.
Once you have the submitted your request for a self-referral (step one) please download the Airmid app.
We will use your Airmid app to send you a questionnaire to allow you to tell us about some of the issues that you are having and what you might need help with.
Airmid allows you to have control over a number of aspects of your healthcare ranging from...
- Quickly and easily book and cancel appointments
- Receive push notifications, surveys and information from clinicians
- Access to your complete medical record
- Direct messaging to/ from clinicians
You can still access and receive care without using Airmid however, you will not be able to enjoy the full benefits as detailed above.
Is it safe?
Yes, Airmid is a safe to use app is recognised by the NHS. Accessing the Airmid app requires you to have an existing NHS login which requires rigorous ID checks therefore reinforcing the safety and security of the Airmid app.

Already have an NHS login account?
Once you have registered to use the Airmid app, please:
Allow all Airmid notifications. This will help make sure you don't miss any information that we send you. Do keep checking your app just in case.
Only use the 'Continue with NHS login' option to open the app. This reduces the likelihood of problems using the app.
