The community musculoskeletal (MSK) service consists of highly specialised physiotherapists, occupational therapists, podiatrists, assistants and exercise professionals.

Our team is spread over the Norfolk and Waveney areas and we’ve designed this page to give you a chance to meet our wonderful team to hopefully help you feel more at ease, if and when you might need to reach to us for help.

Jessica Cleevely

Job role/qualifications: MSK Specialist Physiotherapist in MSK Triage and MSK Physiotherapist. BSc Physiotherapy graduating from Hertfordshire University 2008.

Kieran Morling

Job role/qualifications: Senior Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist, qualified from Coventry University in 2003. He achieved a post-graduate diploma in Advanced Neuromusculoskeletal Physiotherapy in 2014 from the University of Hertfordshire. He is a qualified Health Coach trainer and trains other NHS members of staff

Martin MacDonald

Job role/qualifications: Extended Scope Practitioner with over 12 years of physiotherapy experience in a range of areas, including the NHS and private sectors. He has an MSc Physiotherapy and is currently studying for PGCert Advanced Musculoskeletal Assessment and Practice – including becoming a non-medical prescriber. He is joint and soft tissue injection trained and also has a BSc in Sports Science

Rachael Barran

Job role/qualifications: Qualified from Coventry University in 2014. She works within both the orthopaedic community team and the MSK outpatient department

Sarah Dyche

Job role/qualifications: GP MBBS, MRCGP, PGCert Medical Education, studying for PGDip SEM (sports and exercise medicine).

Stuart Calver

Job role/qualifications: Qualified in 1993 from Oswestry School of Physiotherapy and post-graduate MSc UEA in 2010. Over 20 years working within the NHS with some private clinic and GP surgery experience

Adi Payne

Job role/qualifications: Extended scope practitioner, qualified from the UEA in 2012 with a BSc in Physiotherapy and currently undertaking an MSc in advanced clinical practice in musculoskeletal management. Trained to administer injections.

Gary Wright

Job role/qualifications: Senior physiotherapist in North Norfolk. Qualified 1990 at West London Institute of Higher Education. Worked in USA for 4 years before settling in North Norfolk in 1999. Injection therapy trained 2015.

Graham Ilsley

Helen Duke

Job role/qualifications: MSK Team Lead. Qualified at Leeds School of physiotherapy in 1989.
Masters in Advanced Neuromusculoskeletal Physiotherapy from UCL in 2010. Member of MACP.

Areas of particular interest: Diagnosis and assessment, disorders of the thoracic spine.

I qualified from the UEA in 1997, and have specialised in MSK since 2004. 

Areas of particular interest: Sports injuries, long-term treatment of back and knee pain, qualified in injection therapy and acupuncture. Running escape Pain groups, NCHC Mental Health First Aider, mentor to junior staff and students.

Hobbies outside work: Since hanging up my football boots, I have become a keen cyclist and love tending my garden.
